Members of the AAP School Division are the nation’s leading developers of educational materials, technology-based curricula, and assessments.  As knowledgeleaders in education, School Division members create instructional solutions that help students, teachers, and schools succeed. 

Our mission is to help improve the academic achievement of all students by designing and delivering high-quality instructional content in a variety of media.

The AAP School Division and its members work to:

• Ensure all students have the opportunity to learn by having access to a wide variety of standards-based instructional content.

• Positively affect public policy by working with educators and policy leaders in shaping policy to improve the educational achievement of all students.

• Build understanding among educators, policy leaders, and the general public of the important role educational publishers play in bringing high-quality content, curricula, and professional development to the nation’s schools.

• Serve as a resource to educators, publishers, policy makers, and news media by hosting conferences and forums; providing information and research through websites, position papers and testimony that help to raise awareness and build common understanding.

• Increase funding for all types of instructional materials.
